The Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) is committed to
ensuring that the citizens of Yuba County are afforded a safe and clean
environment. Through the administration and enforcement of Federal, State, and
local laws, regulations, and ordinances pertaining to hazardous materials,
hazardous wastes, underground storage tanks (USTs), and above ground storage
tanks (AGTs). Combined with education and cooperation of local businesses, we
will endeavor to provide a safe and healthy workplace, and to protect the
environment from accidental or unauthorized hazardous material releases.
